Would you drop the Norton crying already. Wah wah wah Norton had just as much heart wah wah wah. Everyone agrees that Norton was a strong and explosive team. They got beat twice by a better team, end of story.
I agree with you that burton did play with alot of heart in both games not just the second one, but 3 lineman is not skill positions and a good team can usually move on from that which burton did IMO they were just beat by a better team in two games, enough about the burton/cw its over for this year we have a state game to try to bring back to this area.

I'll say this
Norton had a heck of a game plan. They played very hard, and they almost stole one from Clintwood. Clintwood did not play as well as they have, part of that is due to Clintwood, part of that is due to Norton making them hesitate and think more than react.
That being said, that game is over, Norton lost 2 times to Clintwood, so while they may have worked hard, ate their vitamins, said their prayers like all the little Raidermaniacs do, they came up a bit short. That's not downing them and I won't down them. Just let it go. It's over with, next year, they will be 2 totally different teams and who knows what happens between now and then.
Clintwood is past Norton now, they are now past Holston as well. There is one game left. And while I know that some people from Norton will be pulling against Clintwood, I know that the majority won't be. I'm not gonna let my opinions about Norton be based on the complainers and more about the ones who have class. Some of Nortons classier people are the ones who were the first ones on here to commend the Wave and wish them luck. Not saying that there aren't some from Clintwood who down Norton, there are always that kind but I also know if people would think a bit, I doubt half the time that the super-pro Norton fans who can't do anything but down anybody but Norton or the super-pro Clintwood fans who do nothing but down anybody but Clintwood, etc etc are even people who support those teams.
Just realize you could put TalibanTed as your user name on here and talk about how much you love them, doesn't make you a member of them. Putting PhilRobbins#1 fan doesn't mean you love Phil, half of the people make names like that with Burton or wave or whatever to freakin try to down the team that they are supposedly defending a lot more than trying to build support.
And some of us on here, myself at times too, drink the koolaid and get suckered in.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

as I said earlier on this board at some point in time...those 3 don't make up the line...they got backups, backups should be able to perform as well as the starters...not play as well, but perform to be able to get the job done...and I assume that didn't happen since thats what you are preaching..

The players for Norton respect the heck out of Clintwood and none of them are complaining, they know they gave their all and got beat, nothing to be ashamed of, you can't win them all. There will be another season start up in 9 months, new players, new goals, new schedules, new everything. Do us all a favor and quit posting until then because everything you type sounds ridiculous.

dude, what is up with that post? we got beat twice this year and 3 times straight. The Wave are a better team over the last year hands down. nothing to hang our head's about, we had a really good year.
Note to others:
each school has posters that are just like this. When you are on top they come out of the woodwork like crazy. now that Clintwood is on top expect the Wave to be hated very soon because a small number of fans. That is the nature of being human.

He's one of the main reasons that people on here have a bit of resentment toward JIB. Retarded stuff like that is what sets people off. As for if Clintwood would have won if they'd lost 3 linemen, I don't know about 3 linemen, but they lost 2 last year and a CB and still beat them.
